3 Things to do this weekend in Melbourne:

1. Visit Sugardough Panificio and Patisserie: For lovers of all things sweet. Highlights include their chocolate bombolini's and their thick Italian hot chocolate. Located at 163 Lygon St, East Brunswick.

2. Check out the new exhibition at Gorker Gallery in Fitzroy: 'BOOKWORMS NEVER GO TO BED ALONE’ by New Zealand Photographer/ Illustrator Kelly Thompson. Come see her new body of mixed media work using recycled card, coloured pencils, photoshop and giclee prints.

3. Go see 'Beautiful Losers'a movie at ACMI.
BEAUTIFUL LOSERS celebrates the spirit behind one of the most influential cultural moments of a generation. In the early 1990's a loose-knit group of likeminded outsiders found common ground at a little NYC storefront gallery. Rooted in the DIY (do-it-yourself) subcultures of skateboarding, surf, punk, hip hop & graffiti, they made art that reflected the lifestyles they led. Starring a selection of artists(Harmony Korine, Mike Mills, Ed Templeton, Barry McGee etc.) who are considered leaders within this culture, Beautiful Losers focuses on the telling of personal stories.
